15 Grammar Goofs That Make You Look Silly

TCP-Grammar_Goof-Post

One of the most dreaded mistakes that you can make on a project is a grammar goof. For me, the process normally involves me pouring a great deal of time into a flyer, newsletter, or presentation only to discover after completion that I totally jacked up a word or two. We’ve all been there before, right? Or worse, I’ll send out a tweet to the masses only for my fiancée to text me a minute later informing me of an obvious mistake. As soon as I read “Seriously?” at the beginning of the text, I realize what I’ve done and the shame kicks in! (Guys, you can relate to me on this one I’m sure. Where would we be without our ladies keeping us straight?)

Luckily, we have sites like Copyblogger.com that come up with helpful infographics like this to give us a quick refresh on some of the most common grammatical mistakes. I first spotted this over at GeekRev.com, which is another totally awesome site that I follow pretty regularly.

Are you guilty of any of these grammar goofs?
